Who we are

Bloom Auto Lab is a registered and licensed business in British Columbia, Canada. These terms are an agreement between you and Bloom Auto Lab.

Quotes and prices

Prices on this site are starting prices for a vehicle in ordinary condition, and they vary by vehicle size. The price we confirm for your specific vehicle is the price you pay. We do not add anything after the fact without telling you first.

Condition surcharge

If a vehicle needs significantly more work than its package assumes, we add $35 for moderate soiling or light pet hair, or $75 for heavy soiling, heavy pet hair, or smoke odour. We tell you before we start work — never after. If you would rather not go ahead at the adjusted price, that is fine and there is no charge.

Service area and travel

We serve the near Lower Mainland — Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, North and West Vancouver, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Delta and Surrey. There is no travel fee anywhere we go.

What we need from you

Reasonable access to the vehicle and roughly a metre of clearance around it. We supply our own water and power. Please remove valuables and personal items before we arrive — we are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.

Weather

We work in Lower Mainland weather year-round. Interior work is unaffected by rain, and we can often work under cover. If conditions would stop us doing the job properly, we will reschedule at no cost to you.

Cancellation

Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to move or cancel a booking. The exact window is confirmed when you book.

Payment

Payment is due on completion. Accepted methods are confirmed when you book.

What detailing can and cannot do

We are straight about this because it matters. Paint correction removes defects by removing a small amount of clear coat; it cannot fix damage that has gone through the clear coat, and no honest detailer can promise 100% defect removal. Ceramic coating is not scratch-proof or dent-proof — it resists chemicals, UV and water, and makes washing easier. Durability figures are the manufacturer's expected life with reasonable care, not a guarantee. Pre-existing damage, failing clear coat, and wear we did not cause are not our responsibility, and we will point them out before we start.

Ceramic coating aftercare

Coatings need to cure. We will tell you how long to keep the vehicle dry and when it is safe to wash. Coating durability assumes the aftercare we give you is followed.

Liability

We take care with your vehicle and we carry insurance appropriate to the work. If we damage something, tell us right away and we will make it right. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed.
